Two weeks ago, we received an inquiry from a US customer who was looking for 2 display stands to place cosmetics for in-store promotion. The customer was interested in our popular Cosmetic Paper Display Stand design, but had specific requirements that needed to be met to ensure that the display perfectly matched their products and marketing strategy.
Initial Design and Customer Feedback
We presented various designs to the customer, showcasing our diverse portfolio of Cardboard Store Display options. The customer chose Design 5, which has a unique and eye-catching structure. Initially, the customer requested a simple change: replacing the existing logo with their own logo. However, the next day, they made two new requests that increased the complexity of the project.
For the first display stand, the customer needed to punch holes in the tray to accommodate their specific cosmetics. The variety and size of their products made this task challenging. For the second display stand, they wanted to replace the existing image with their own image and redesign the entire stand into a round shape to make it more suitable for displaying a variety of cosmetics.
Our Solution
With our extensive experience, our team suggested some small changes to the design to make the display rack more flexible and more responsive to the customer's needs. For the first display rack, we kept the hole design of the first layer to highlight the customer's products while flattening the rest of the tray to facilitate the placement of other items. For the second display rack, we replaced the image with a graphic that the customer liked and adopted a circular design, the cosmetic display rack would not only attract customers but also effectively promote their products.
Results
These simple but effective design changes addressed the customer's concerns and provided a strong solution. Both display racks are sturdy and reliable, ensuring that customers can use them with confidence. When the customer saw the final product pictures, they were very satisfied. After a few days of shipping, the customer received the sample and happily gave us positive feedback.
