Mixed printing into direction
With the increasing market demand for individualization and the rapid development of digital printing technology, a period of rapid growth of digital printing may come. The Drupa Global Trends Report, published by Messe Dusseldorf, shows that the market's demand for digital printing has increased. According to the report, 85% of commercial printing companies in the world can provide digital printing services. 31% of commercial printing companies say that more than 25% of their operating income comes from digital printing, and only 38% of publication printing companies and 57% of packaging printing companies. Companies currently do not have digital printing capabilities.
Compared with the above data, my country’s digital printing data is somewhat embarrassing: out of the total printing output of 1039.85 billion yuan in 2013, the output value provided by digital printing was only 10.3 billion yuan, accounting for 1%, although this data is worthwhile It is questionable, but it is a fact that the output value of digital printing in our country is not high.
With the increase in the pursuit of individuality and the increase in environmental protection requirements, the production costs of traditional printing companies have increased, coupled with the increasing improvements in digital printing technology, in the next period of time, digital printing will enter more various printing fields. Printing companies will also use more traditional printing plus digital printing, and take the road of mixed printing. However, if the price-performance ratio of digital printing can be further improved, it is believed that its share in the entire printing market will increase rapidly.
