At the end of 2021, WOW received a toy display stand inquiry from a Hong Kong customer about the Rogue Rabbit brand on social networking sites. The customer's needs are very clear, and the customer also has its own independent design team with sufficient experience in display rack design.
Therefore, this project is relatively smooth in terms of design. According to the product size and placement quantity given by the customer, Lisa of WOW's business gave the 3D rendering design drawing and die line within 1 working day. The customer is highly approved by efficiency of us.
After 2 minor revisions, the die line and printing artwork of the toy display shelf of this project were confirmed.
Within 2 working days, WOW provided actual samples of the toy display stand, and considering the brand of Rogue Rabbit, WOW prepared large-scale printing color proof for customers to confirm in order to prevent problems with printing colors. Soon, Hong Kong customers received samples and confirmed bulk orders.
Since this project needs to be delivered to the Hong Kong Seven-Eleven chain store before the Chinese New Year, and the project itself is relatively large, WOW arranged the production line in two shifts and finally delivered it smoothly before the Chinese New Year holiday.
However, the biggest problem in this project is not the delivery time, but the color control. As we all know, due to the production time and cost, the sample printing of the paper display rack is digital inkjet printing, and the mass production uses offset printing. It is difficult to adjust the color of digital inkjet printing. When making samples of cardboard display racks, we will match professional color proof for customers to confirm the color. When mass production, we adjust the offset printing according to the color drafts confirmed by customers to achieve more than 98% color matching.
Then in this project, the customer wants the color matching degree to reach more than 99% after the display rack is laminated. This requirement is difficult for general printing factories to achieve, because the printed products will have a certain degree of color deviation after the lamination is completed. More than 99% Color matching is an unattainable standard in practice, but in order to achieve this requirement, WOW has adopted the following solutions:
1. In the printing process, use a color corrector to fully compare the color proof and the printing plate to ensure that the printing color matching degree is above 99%;
2. The display rack is not treated with lamination, and the surface treatment method of varnish is used to solve the problem of color deviation.
In the end, under the professional advice and guidance of WOW, the client agreed with our plan and highly praised WOW's professionalism.
